Mushroom Chicken Recipe - Foods


ITALIAN CHICKEN & MUSHROOM CASSEROLE... a good mushroom chicken recipe to experiment with!

Ingredients

* 4 entire chicken breasts, lower in 50 percent * one/4 c. oil * 3/4 c. onion, chopped * one clove garlic, minced * two tbsp. cornstarch * one/two c. dry white colored wine * one lg. can entire tomatoes & liquid * one one/two tsp. salt * one bay leaf * one/two tsp. marjoram leaves * one/3 tsp. pepper * one/3 tsp. crushed thyme leaves * 4 med. zucchini (sliced one/two" thick) * one lb. new mushrooms

INSTRUCTIONSSeason chicken breasts with salt and pepper to flavor. Warmth oil in major skillet. Brown chicken on both sides. Cover and cook on decreased warmth for 15-twenty minutes. Take away chicken to major baking dish. Pour off all but two tablespoons drippings. To drippings include onion and garlic.Saute till tender.Incorporate cornstarch with one/4 cup of wine. Stir into skillet. Include tomatoes and liquid. Cook and stir till thick, about one-two minutes. Stir in salt, bay leaf, pepper, thyme and crushed marjoram. Addzucchini. Carry to a boil. Cover and simmer 3 minutes. Pour more than chicken. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for twenty minutes.Meanwhile, rinse, pat dry and slice mushrooms. Include mushrooms andremaining wine to casserole. Baste with very hot liquid, go over and bake till chicken is fork tender, about twenty minutes. Juice might be thickened if you wish. Serve with rice or noodles (preferred). * Non-stick cooking spray (decreased sodium) * 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, tenderized till flat * nine slices Armour Star sliced dried beef (95% body fat totally free) * one one/two c. cooked wild rice * one/4 tsp. dried thyme * one/4 tsp. dried oregano * one/4 tsp. rosemary * one/4 tsp. marjoram * one/4 tsp. basil * one/4 tsp. parsley flakes * one/two tsp. rubbed sage * one/two tsp. nutmeg (optional) * 6 new mushrooms, sliced (approx. two c.) * one can Nutritious Ask for cream of mushroom soup, undiluted * 3/4 c. basic nonfat yogurt * Toothpicks

INSTRUCTIONS1. Just take a nine inch square baking dish and coat with non-stick cooking spray.two. Site dried beef on the bottom of the dish, creating sure bottom of the dish is covered.3. Blend cooked rice and spices with each other in medium mixing bowl.4. Spread about two tablespoons of rice mixture onto each chicken piece, pulling up the sides, keeping the rice as stuffing, and protected with toothpicks. (Save remaining rice mixture to serve with the completed chicken dish.) Site chicken on prime of dried beef.5. Site sliced mushrooms approximately chicken.6. Blend and spoon soup and yogurt more than chicken and mushrooms.seven. Bake at 350 degrees for about one hour or till chicken is completely cooked.
